Landscape Architecture is a field of study which involves the designing, planning and managing of the public areas, landmarks and parks in our environment. It is one of the sub-branches of architecture. Landscape architects are equipped to design traditional places such as parks, residential developments, campuses, gardens, cemeteries, commercial centers, resorts, transportation facilities, corporate and institutional centers and waterfront developments.
Landscape architects work at that interface between the physical environment and human culture.

Scope of Landscape Architecture:
Scope of Landscape Architecture ranges from small flower arrangement like ikebana & Interiorscaping to large Urban planning, site planning, environment planning, real estate planning, green infrastructure planning and many more.

Who can be a Landscape Architect?
If you have love for the plants & are skilled to combine art and design together with physical, social, economic, political and cultural factors to generate creative solutions for our urban and natural environments, then this stream of profession should be a natural choice. Flair for drawing combined with love for natural environment along with design, technical skills, management, ecology, problem solving and innovation across multiple projects/tasks are some of the prerequisites that would provide cutting edge.

Eligibility Requirements for Admission to Architecture in India:
HSC in Science Stream, with 50% Aggregate and 50% Aggregate in PCM.
Qualifying Entrance Exam: NATA or JEE-Paper II
